Rift Silver Birch Drawers
Our products in the True Wood Collection come from a manufacturer who has the highest standards of quality for products available. Their veneers are built with care and precision for long lasting performance. Our manufacturer is an eco-friendly company who backs up this philosophy with concrete actions that help preserve the planet’s precious hardwood resources. The majority of their products are green products and all of their protective cardboards are made from 100% recycled pulp. They’ve taken it a step further and are FSC, CARB2 and TSCA6 certified, ensuring that our forests and air quality are protected.
FSC Certified - The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international non-profit, multi-stakeholder organization established in 1993 to promote responsible management of the world's forests. The FSC does this by setting standards on forest products, along with certifying and labeling them as eco-friendly.
CARB2 Certified - is a certification process instituted by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to reduce formaldehyde emissions and protect the public from airborne toxic contaminants. There’s a reason CARB has become known as the “clean air agency”. The CARB2 compliant seal indicates that the product’s formaldehyde levels are well within the safety limits.
TSCA6 Certified - The Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) is the most important chemical control law in the United States. It has given Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) various authorities to take certain regulatory actions against both new and existing chemical substances.
